United Way donation jar, containing $15, stolen from Bonita Springs store

A jar containing donations for United Way was snatched Wednesday from a Bonita Springs convenience store counter.

According to a Lee County Sheriff’s Office report:

Cecilia L. Ybarra, 26, the assistant manager of the Circle K at 27709 Old U.S. 41, told deputies that just before 9:30 a.m. a Hispanic man wearing a black coat went into the store. While she waited on other customers he took the jar and walked out the store.

The jar contained about $15.
