While first-place Cocomo’s was idle, Joey’s Pizza and Da Vinci’s won City Men’s Softball League games to stay close.

Here are last week’s results.

Islander Pool nips Nacho Mama’s, 6-5.

Islander Pool & Patio won its second game, edging Nacho Mama’s, with three hits from Lou Wolfenson and Lionel Fonseca’s third home run of the season. Joey Irigoyen and Randy Heimgartner added two hits each. Steve Haidy had a home run for Nacho’s.

Joey’s downs Marco Island Brewery, 11-6

Steve Pahr led Joey’s with three hits and a home run. Jimmy Stephenson, Jim Bonafito and Joe Lombino added three hits each. Dustin Hunter went 4-for-4 for the Brewery.

Da Vinci’s rolls over Sand Bar, 11-1

Da Vinci’s Mike Radlovacki knocked out three hits and Mike Graczyk, Mark Feola Jr. and Mark Feola Sr. and Eric Szczepanski added two hits each.

On the season, Cocomo’s is 3-0, Joey’s and Da Vinci’s, 3-1, Island Pool & Patio and Sand Bar, 3-1, Eli’s Contracting, 1-2, Marco Island Brewery, 1-3 and Nacho Mama’s 0-4.

The league is idle until after the holidays, with games starting up on Jan. 6.
