Another caroling flash mob serenades folks in Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — A caroling flash mob hit the Orlando International Airport to bring some holiday cheer to stressed-out travelers.

A flash mob is an organized group that suddenly materializes in a public place, engages in odd behavior and then disperses. In this instance, participants got advance permission from airport and TSA officials for the Saturday event.

Just after 4 p.m., 120 members of the Messiah Choral Society and the Bach Festival Choir erupted into rendition of Handel's "Messiah."

Travelers whipped out camera phones, applauded raucously and tearfully thanked the singers.

In Naples, a Coastland Center mall crowd was surprised last week by a similar impromptu Christmas carol from a Seacrest Country Day School choir. CLICK HERE to see the video.
