A Collier County Fair vendor this year is serving a Donut Burger — a cheeseburger with deep-fried bacon sandwiched between a sliced Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut.
"Well, think about it. You get a Krispy Kreme doughnut. There's your sugar. You get the cheese and the beef and you get the bacon. You've got the salt from the bacon. You've got the sweetness from the Krispy Kreme," said Melissa Kelley of Porky's, the Indiana-based vendor. "A doughnut or a pig's never done me wrong. You know what I'm saying? So you've got all that together. It's a good deal. It's a real good deal."
