Florida woman arrested for Facebook threats

MELBOURNE — A 32-year-old central Florida woman has been jailed for making threats on a social networking Web site.

Sylvia Jennifer Hernandez faces charges of cyber stalking and violation of an injunction. She was arrested Sunday and is being held in the Brevard County Detention Center on $1,500 bond.

Palm Bay police believe Hernandez posted threats on another woman's Facebook page. The woman told police that she was afraid of Hernandez.

It's unclear if Hernandez has an attorney.
