A fast-moving storm system is moving toward us through the Gulf of Mexico today. Skies will be mostly cloudy today ahead of this system. We could pick up a shower at anytime, but this afternoon is when our rain chances really go up.
We'll have plenty of showers and even a few thunderstorms this afternoon and evening.
We'll likely have half an inch to an inch of rain and then the rain will dwindle down through the night.
