— Former President George W. Bush will be in Naples tonight as part of the Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speakers Series. The 43rd President of the United States will be joined by his brother Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida.

George W. Bush has stayed out of the limelight, limiting his appearances, since leaving the Oval Office a year ago. Last week, however, a picture of Bush popped up on a billboard in Minnesota.

The roadside advertisement was funded by some people who apparently aren't happy with the way things are going in Washington.

The billboard's tagline: "Miss me yet?"

Office manager Beverly Master of Schubert and Hoey Outdoor Advertising in Minneapolis says the message was purchased by a group of small business owners and people from the Twin Cities area who want to remain anonymous.

Master says the billboard overlooking Interstate 35 in Wyoming, Minn., is scheduled to stay up until at least the end of February. She says her company, which owns the billboard, has not done any others like it.

Wyoming Mayor Sheldon Anderson calls the billboard "rather clever" but says he doesn't know who's behind it.

Former President George W. Bush and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush are to speak tonight in Naples at a sold-out event.

The Bush brothers are guest speakers at the Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speaker Series at the Naples Grande Beach Resort in North Naples.

There is no public appearance for the Bushes in connection with the event, nor is there a press conference, sponsors said. There are no tickets remaining for the event.

The Naples Town Hall Distinguished Speakers is a nonprofit lecture series that has brought in national and world leaders since it began in 1983.

George W. Bush, the 43rd president, was sworn into office in January 2001 and served eight years, following six years as governor of Texas.

Jeb Bush was governor of Florida, elected in November 1998 and left office in January 2007.

The event starts this evening after 6 p.m. at the Naples Grande resort.

The event is to be moderated by Jim Angle, the FOX News Channel’s chief Washington correspondent.

A Daily News reporter is attending the event and will report tonight on the speeches by the Bushes.
