Three new stores have opened in Naples that give you the red carpet treatment when you enter, but one will have you walking the red carpet in style.

Royalty & Hollywood Jewelry LLC has replicated collections of the jewels owned by Princess Diana, Jacqueline Kennedy and Hollywood movie stars. This is the place to get bling and walk the red carpet at the same time.

Owners Gary and Nancy Bogan have decorated their store with glamorous crystal chandeliers, photos of Hollywood stars and placed a red carpet down the middle.

Visiting the store is taking a trip down memory lane of American movies and royalty. All jewelry is priced from $55 to $275, so it is affordable to look like the rich and famous. Every item comes with the piece’s history and a romance card. The Kennedy jewelry has certificates of authenticity and is made with Swarvoski crystals.

You’ll recognize Nora Butler’s Taste of Collier posters as soon as you enter her store, Nora Butler Designs, but take your time and browse the art, apparel and gifts.

The store is full of T-shirts, note cards, aprons, pictures, Adirondack chairs and pot holders decorated with Butler’s original designs. The store also carries handmade earrings and linked memory components by local artist Debbie Gunden.

Wherever you turn you find something you want to take home or give as a gift. It is a bright, happy store that easily fills your gift and wish lists.

Altered Elements is an eclectic boutique owned by three women who are friends and two of the three are sister-in-laws. All have their roots in Naples and each designs jewelry.

Karen Bishop is a photographer of orchids; Lucy Pulling Finch paints decorative mailboxes and makes doors, windows and kaleidoscopes out of stained glass; and Marsha Pulling is the buyer of the accessories, rainbow sandals, spirit earrings and more.

The women teach jewelry-making and also sell tools to make pieces at home. The first class made a tangled, bangle bracelet out of brass and copper wiring and tubing. Join the second class for $60 to make a hammered, tangled bracelet at 2:30 p.m. March 8 at the Girl Scout House, 601 Park St., Naples. Call

430-0654 to register.

Visit the newest stores in town and enjoy seeing things of the past and future.

Ike likes it

Ike likes cereal and especially Cheerios. He found a new flavor by Cheerios.

The verdict: Cheerios is my favorite cereal and browsing the aisles in Publix I saw the company’s newest flavor — chocolate. It seems a little sweet to start the day, but on weekends when I eat later it’s a good treat.
