It’s cold all across America.
Including Florida and our part of it.
And it’s going to stay that way for at least a week.
Happy new year.
We can talk a lot about the weather, although we cannot do much about it — except use common sense coping with it. That includes wearing plenty of layers of clothing outdoors to stay warm; being careful with portable heaters indoors; and keeping posted on forecasts which hint at a freeze next week or sooner, requiring stopgap garden protective measures. We also ought to be on the alert for opportunities to help charities provide warmth via shelter and blankets.
For most cold snaps, it suffices to tell visitors to count their blessings; it’s colder where they came from.
This time, it’s just cold everywhere.
At least here it isn’t snowing. Yet.
