Tiger Tales: The woman who outted Woods' first affair speaks; Elin spotted with ring

The speculation and stories about Tiger Woods continue into the New Year.

The New York Daily News had an exclusive interview with the woman who told the National Enquirer that Rachel Uchitel had bragged about having an affair with Woods. Ashley Samson said she was paid $25,000 by the tabloid for the scoop that has since turned into a full-out scandal with over a dozen women linked to having affairs with Woods. Samson said she would have taken $200,000 from Woods’ camp to stay quiet. Samson told the Daily News that she met Uchitel in Spain after being lined up as a “party girl” for four men.

Meanwhile, Tiger’s wife, Elin Nordegren was spotted at a swanky ski resort in the French Alps, celebrating her 30th birthday and ringing in the New Year.

There is speculation the marriage is far from over as Elin was spotted wearing a diamond ring.

But one British tabloid is saying the ring may just be temporary.

It’s been reported that Nordegren told friends that Woods gave her $300 million for Christmas (a divorce settlement?) and that he was going to give up golf until 2012.

The saddest part of this saga is the note at the bottom of the story of a hotel worker saying he saw Woods’ children, Sam and Charlie, crying because Elin wouldn’t allow Woods to see them on Christmas day.
