I wish that Mario Sanchez’ neighborhood had been the first to convert to sewer and that his method of converting septic tanks to cisterns had been available from the beginning.
I can’t imagine why anyone would not convert even if they have to pay the cost themselves. The savings in water usage would probably pay for it in a couple months.
I hope that he can now find a way for those of us whose septic tanks have been inactivated to be able to take advantage of his idea.
I suppose that the down side will be that our drinking water rates will rise to a level that will make it cheaper to take a bath in bottled water.
