Rain or shine, the fourth annual Naples Empty Bowl event will be held in Cambier Park on Saturday to benefit our region’s Harry Chapin Food Bank. More than 1,350 handmade ceramic bowls for soups donated by 27 local restaurants will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A $10 donation will entitle an individual to select a bowl to keep and sample the soups.

There also will be a silent pottery auction and live music.

Tickets are not available in advance, so consider coming early — and helping root for nice weather.
