Moviegoers enjoyed watching Monsters vs. Aliens Friday evening at Mackle Park. The movie was the latest in the City of Marco Island Parks and Recreation Department’s Movies in the Park series. Attendees are encouraged to bring coolers, blankets and lawn chairs and enjoy the free movie. From the size of the enthusiastic crowed it looked like the city did a great job getting the word out. For those that did not bring a cooler, city staff had a table set up to sell water, soda, popcorn, and neon necklaces. Make sure to add the next Movie in the Park to your schedule.
