Victoria Wright Eagle i Contributor These curious, and not so curious burrowing owls check out the photographer. A fourth owl decided it wasn't interested at all.
This is my second year watching and photographing a burrow close by our home. I must have hundreds of pictures of these remarkable, beautiful and amazing little birds. However, never before have I managed to capture all four chicks together, let alone them posing for me as they did today !!
I have spent a lot of time with Mom, Dad and now chicks and they seem to just accept me. So much so, Mom and Dad just ignore me now! Quite ironic, I was telling a friend that I love my wildlife photography and you can’t tell a bird to stand a certain way, look at the camera, and smile.
Well these little guys did for me....unbelievable!
