Youngsters from ages 7 to 15 enjoyed Scott Stewart’s basketball camp this week at the YMCA.
They learned fundamental skills, got to play under low-stress game conditions and heard from inspirational speakers. A major speaker was Marco’s Alan Bristow, former NBA player and manager.
Stewart, who is the varsity basketball coach at First Baptist Academy, formerly played professional basketball in Europe. More than 30 kids participated.
