The cast of “Little House on the Prairie: The Musical” hammered away on a little home in Naples Wednesday.
“Every city we’ve gone to we work one day on a build site,” said actress Melissa Gilbert.
Gilbert starred as Laura in the TV version of “Little House,” but this go around she is playing “Ma” Ingalls.
“I like to describe it as coming home, but the furniture’s been rearranged,” she said.
Cast members will be helping at 26 Habitat for Humanity sites in different cities during the show’s tour.
"Little House on the Prairie: The Musical" is playing at the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts through Sunday.
