Heads shaved to fight kids cancer

Brady Wilhite is not quite sure what to make of his hair style as he looks into a mirror as his head is being shaved. It was the fourth year for Brady to have his head shaved in the St. Baldirk's Shave Day to help raise funds to fight kids cancer. This time it was at Cathy O'Clarke's on Marco Island. Twice he has had his head shaved in his home town, St, Louis and also in Jupiter to raise funds. Check a full gallery of photos on the Web site on Monday night.

Youngsters, from 6, to oldsters who didn’t tell their age, had their heads shaved in the fight against kids cancer at Cathy O’Clarke’s on Saturday.

It was the St. Baldrick’s National Shave day and 20 persons went bald to raise funds for kids with cancer.

Mike Assaf, coordinator for Marco and Naples, was pleased with the Marco turnout. There will be more heads shaved at 4 p.m. on Sunday at Paddy Murphy’s Irish Pub in Naples.
