— A Naples man had some additional charges added to his bill after a Sunday afternoon visit to the McDonald's at 5465 Airport-Pulling Road.

According to a Collier County Sheriff's Office Arrest Report:

Alan S. Jones, 44, of the 3300 block of Timberwood Court, Naples, is accused of hitting the car in front of him in the restaurant's drive-through lane while under the influence of alcohol.

The driver of the other car approached Jones, who then denied the accident, got out of his truck and walked away, leaving the menu board blocked.

A Collier County Sheriff's Office deputy was patrolling the parking lot, and was flagged down by the other driver, who pointed out Jones walking away from the scene.

The deputy said Jones told him he was "just walking," when asked what he was doing.

During questioning, Jones said his "friend" was driving the truck, but was later found with keys in his pocket.

Jones was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, driving under the influence with property damage and leaving the scene of the crash.
