Possession of marijuana

Several individuals were loitering in the parking lot at the Sand Bar, 826 East Elkcam Circle, after the restaurant’s hours of operation. Police reported seeing one of the men discard a suspicious object at about 2:45 a.m., on March 12. Shane Spezza, 19, of the 1100 block of Gayer Way, Marco, was arrested for possession of marijuana. He was taken to jail.

Battery

Police responded to a report of a disturbance at the 800 block of Wintergreen Drive and met with several individuals who reported that they were assaulted by Clay Collili, 21. Collili was arrested at his home on Wintergreen Drive at about 12:20 a.m., March 13, charged with battery and taken to jail.

Driving while license suspended

Police reported that they conducted a stop on a vehicle for a traffic offense near the 1300 block of North Collier Boulevard, at 10:48 p.m., March 15. Driver Daniel Quarles, 50, of the 400 block of Piedmonst Street in Lehigh Acres was arrested and charged with driving while his license was suspended. He was taken to jail.

Possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of controlled substance

Two people were in a suspicious vehicle parked in the area of O’Malley’s Alley and East Elkcam at 9:49 p.m., on March 5, police reported. The officer reported smelling marijuana coming from the driver of the vehicle. Myles C. Robinson, 22, of the 200 block of Lime Key Lane, Naples, was charged with possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and possession of the controlled substance ecstasy. Robinson went to jail.

Open house party

A disturbance was reported to police at a home on the 1300 block of San Marco Road, shortly after midnight on March 6. Police said there was a large crowd with several underage subjects present and consuming alcohol. Lisa Madeline Frimberger, 18, was arrested at her home and charged with having an open house party. She was released at the scene and given a notice to appear in court.

Theft of purse

Rose Majdalani reported that a purse was stolen from Sandpiper Clothier, located at 1069 N. Collier Blvd. Ste. 205, at about 1 p.m., March 7. The purse is valued at approximately $178.

Disorderly intoxication

Police responded to a report of a disturbance at the Snook Inn, 1215 Bald Eagle Dr., at about 5:30 p.m., on March 7. While responding to that call, police were then notified that the disturbance involving four men was now occurring at Jack’s Lookout, 951 Bald Eagle Dr. When police caught up with the men, the officers said they could smell alcohol. Kyle Henry Zeppenfield, 19, of the 18000 block of Wildwood Court, Spring Lake, Mich., had reportedly struck a vehicle with a beer can thrown from the roof at the Snook Inn. He also was causing a disruption to several guests at the restaurants, police reported. Zeppenfield was arrested and charged with disorderly intoxication and taken to jail.

DUI

Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic offense along Fourwinds Avenue at about 2:30 a.m., on March 8. After smelling alcohol on the driver, police say Nicholas Bowman Donatelli, 27, of the 1100 block of Fourwinds Avenue was charged with DUI and taken to jail.

Theft of bicycle

Gerald E. Jacobs reported that his bicycle was stolen from a bike rack on the 200 block of South Collier Boulevard sometime between 1 p.m., on March 5, and noon, on March 6. The bike is valued at approximately $75.

Criminal mischief

John McNaboe reported that someone damaged his vehicle and vandalized a fence on his property located on the 1300 block of Merrimac Avenue. Damage was estimated at $200.
