Negotiating obstacle courses, playing golf with clubs that looked something out of Looney Tunes, water balloon toss and catch, hockey using frisbees as pucks and target football throwing were some of the fun sporting activities enjoyed by 3rd to 5th Grade students recently at Tommie Barfield Elementary.

Plenty of volunteers were on hand as game marshalls, and the youngsters rotated from one station to the next for two hours of fun ... and exercise.
