Registered Nurse, author and elder care expert Paula Camposano Robinson has written a chapter for a new book relating to her field.
Called Priceless Caregiving: Stories of Elder Care Success, Courage and Strength, the book is available in paperback and can be ordered through Amazon.com or by contacting her office locally.
“I am so proud to have contributed to such a positive and insightful piece of literature that will help so many baby-boomers, seniors, and adult children of aging parents who are struggling with questions and concerns about an aging loved one,” Camposano Robinson said.
“The stories are true, heartwarming, and life-changing ... showing how elder care services of all kinds have impacted the lives of senior clients and families.”
She outlined how the stories, including her own, show how elder care has saved seniors’ families from stress, worry, and sleepless nights.
“The stories also teach all of us the importance of helping our aging loved ones maintain independence and choice for life,” she said.
It also dispels common myths and misconceptions associated with elder care services, she said.
The book was compiled by Valerie Van Booven, who praises the contributing caregivers.
“Each contribution is from a real life hero for our senior population,” Van Booven wrote.
Camposano Robinson is director of the adult care center Sanitasole along with her husband Richard.
Day services include music therapy, gardening, pet therapy, computer stations, a library, a fitness center, and a heated hydrotherapy pool.
