Country star Mindy McCready featured in sex tape

— Country music singer Mindy McCready was making headlines again Monday but not for her new album.

In a press statement released Monday through Business Wire, adult entertainment company Vivid Entertainment announced the release April 19 of 'Mindy McCready, Baseball Mistress'.

The video, which is being released by Vivid Entertainment through its Vivid-Celeb imprint, has the country music singer and VH1 reality series star in compromising positions with an ex-boyfriend, the statement said.

On the video, McCready discusses her relationship with Major League Baseball star Roger Clemens.

McCready has said she met Clemens when she was 16 in a Lee County karaoke bar and that her that her relationship with the pitcher didn’t turn sexual until several years later.

McCready has had her share of problems, including a couple of suicide attempts, a time in jail for violation of probation and a drunken altercation with a Lee County deputy in which she lost custody of her son.

McCready was one of nine cast members in the latest season of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."

McCready recently released her first album in eight years, “Mindy McCready I’m Still Here.”

The singer/songwriter is best known for placing 12 singles on the Billboard country music charts and for her hits “Ten Thousand Angels,” and “Guys Do It All the Time.”
