A 14ft., 150 pound male African Rock Python discovered in January, is the largest ever found in the Florida Everglades.

The largest male African Rock Python found in the state of Florida was found in the Everglades in January.

The snake is 14-feet long, 140 pounds.

Just this week, Florida Fish and Wildlife confirmed it was the largest male African Rock Python found in the state. In this species, the females are actually larger than the males.
