The Lely softball team closed its season and looked ahead at its awards party on Tuesday.
Jazmin Swope, who won the most valuable player, is the lone senior on the team.
Sophomore Lisa Feola, a rising pitcher, won the best defensive player award, while junior Maria Reyes won the best offensive player honor.
The Lady Trojans were 15-9 on the season under new head coach Jess Millar.
“We will have a solid team back next year and look forward to being very competitive,” she said.
