VIDEO: Murder-suicide not a first for family of North Naples couple

NAPLES — The family of a North Naples couple found dead over the weekend says the murder-suicide didn't come as a surprise - because it's happened to them before.

Deputies say Jim Payne shot his wife, Roleen, in the head inside their apartment before killing himself. It's the same way Jim's parents died eight years ago. His father, William Payne, shot his wife, Mary, in Maryland in 2002, and then killed himself.

In the case of his brother, he knew there was trouble. Robert Payne said there were money problems - the couple lost their home, had to sell their car and were unable to find jobs.
