Voting is under way for the May photo contest from the Collier Citizen and we’ve begun June’s contest with the theme “Sum-Sum-Summertime” from the lyrics of the popular oldies song.
Unlike May’s photo contest, which we posted many photo submissions but not all, the one for June will have ALL entries in a photo grallery online at colliercitizen.com as soon as they arrive (or Monday mornings for weekend submissions).
The rules (yes, you need the ‘stinkin’ rules):
1) Submit all entries to news@colliercitizen.com
2) Readers are limited to three entries in the contest
3) Submissions must be about summertime in keeping with the month’s theme.
4) Readers should give a description of the photograph, where and when it was taken and any other information that would give context to the image. High resolution photos 200dpi are best.
Submissions for the June contest will end on June 26, with voting beginning June 29 for the best from 10 finalists.
Voting continues through June 14 for the photo contest for May. The winner will be announced online on June 17 and in the June 18 print edition of the Citizen.
