Local golf: FormerFGCU standout Lamielle fails to advance at Q-School

Former Florida Gulf Coast University golfer Joey Lamielle failed to advance out of the PGA Tour Qualifying School’s Second Stage on Saturday in Panama City.

Lamielle finished in a four-way tie for 41st at seven over after Saturday’s fourth round, in which the Sarasota resident had his best round of 70. The top 19 and ties moved on.
