The Naples Daily News got a shout out from an unlikely source.
On Monday’s Late Show with David Letterman, the paper made the shows’ long-time segment ‘Small Town News’ when Letterman highlighted an Aug. 16 story “Golden Gate neighbors stunned by 63-year-old’s arrest in Lee robberies.”
The segment started out by saying "Small Town News with a twist: Some of the following will be of guys who sort of look like Dave …"
“In the Estero robbery, authorities described the suspect as either a male or a female,” Lee County authorities were quoted as saying.
