11000 block of Windsong Circle
NAPLES — A North Naples manhunt has been called off by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office this afternoon.
According to Collier County Sheriff’s spokeswoman Natalie Felber, at 12:15 p.m. Sheriff’s deputies responded to battery call in the 11000 block of Windsong Circle.
When deputies arrived, Felber said the suspect resisted and then fled on foot. Sheriff’s deputies, as well as K-9 units and a helicopter became involved with the search.
However as of 3:30 p.m., Felber said the search had been called off.
“We have suspended the search, but the investigation is ongoing,” said Felber.
Felber added that anyone with information should call the Collier County Sheriff’s Office at 239-774-4434.

A manhunt is underway in North Naples this afternoon.

“We are actively searching,” said Felber adding that along with deputies, a CCSO helicopter is involved with the search.
A helicopter and K-9 units are involved in the search.
