Happy Halloween! Local events on tap for today

— Looking for something to do today? Here are some ideas.

SUNDAY (HALLOWEEN)

Trick-or-Treat times: Unlike many communities up North, government entities here have not designated specific hours for door-to-door trick-or-treating. Communities elsewhere generally have set trick-or-treat times somewhere between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Sunday, so this gives you a fairly good idea of what times are acceptable or expected. Keep in mind that the sunset time is about 6:45 p.m. Happy Halloween!
