An Immokalee teenager received a three-year prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to having sex with a minor.

Tyrone Fuller, 19, is the last of five Immokalee teenagers to be punished for having consensual sex with the victim, a 15-year-old who accused four of her partners, Immokalee High School football players, of gang-raping her.

Monday, Fuller pleaded no contest to two counts of lewd and lascivious battery from two cases. He was adjudicated guilty and will serve two years of sex offender probation following his release. He also owes $4,864 in court costs.

Collier deputies arrested Fuller on Sept. 2, 2009, after the victim reported the two had sex at Fuller’s house. The girl told police that she was at school when a friend gave her Fuller’s new cell phone number and the pair began texting. At Fuller’s request, the girl left school to visit Fuller at his house.

The pair had sex, according to the report, after which the victim returned home.

The victim’s father had a protective order against Fuller in his daughter’s name, according to the report. When Fuller was arrested on Sept. 2 he was charged for a second sexual act two days later.

In October, the same girl accused four Immokalee High School teens — one of them Fuller’s cousin, Demondrea Fuller—of raping her next to a portable classroom across campus from the field where a junior varsity football game was being played.

The victim later admitted to detectives she’d agreed to have sex with the players. Her father denied it.

Due to the nature of the case, the girl’s name is being withheld by the Daily News.

The players involved were Fuller, Joshua Edison, Deonte Clifton and Kovan McSwain. All were 17 at the time of the incident, and all were held in a juvenile detention center for 21 days. They were later charged as juveniles.

The four were suspended from school for two weeks following the arrests.

Each pleaded no contest in March to a charge of aggravated assault with intent to commit a lewd or lascivious battery. They were placed on juvenile probation and required to perform 50 hours of community service, undergo counseling, maintain curfew and have no contact with the victim.

The victim’s father agreed with the punishment, a State Attorney’s Office spokeswoman said.

The victim moved from Immokalee in late 2009.
