Notch two more Sunshine Athletic Conference Invitational titles for the Marco Island Charter Middle School track teams.
The boys and girls had no trouble sweeping the tournament for the second straight season.
The girls scored 107 points, while First Baptist Academy tallied 37 and Community School of Naples, 23. The boys tallied 93 points, while Community School scored 39 and First Baptist Academy, 30.
The girls won 8 of 11 events, with Rosie Poling a double winner in the 800 and 1600 yard races. She set the school record in the 1600 with a run of 5:48. The girls took the top five spots in the 1600, with Jen Carter, Morgan Burke, Emma Fernandez and Erica Jacobsen close behind Poling.
In the 800, it was Poling, Carter, and Burke, 1-2-3 and Hannah Hegarty fifth.
Samantha Jennings won the 100 yard dash, followed by Taylor Fetzer, with Anastasia Baran fourth. Charter School raced to the top four spots in the 200 yard dash, with Lauren Hanscom followed by Jennings, Katie Cookson and Baran.
The 400 yard dash saw Christy Thorstenson race to first, followed by Hanscom and Ashley Schneller fifth. In the 100 yard hurdles, Lexie Lundquist was second, Kelsey Halaschak third and Cookson fourth.
The 4x100 relay team of Lundquist, Jennings, Taylor and Schneller won, while the 4x400 relay team of Lundquist, Hanscom, Thorstenson and Taylor raced to second.
Lundquist was second and Hanscom fifth in the long jump. Casey Mendel, Madison Smith and Alyssa Stolinas went 1-2-3 in the shot put.
Patrick Michel was a triple winner and Tanner Fulcher a double winner for the boys.
Michel won the 100 and 200 yard dashes and the long jump. Trevor Dye was third in the 200, while Peter Servente was second in the long jump.
Fulcher won the 800 and 1600 yard runs.
Fulcher was followed in the 800 by Dalton Herrity, Josh Wagner and Cody Demalavez. In the 1600 Herrity was third, Wagner fourth and Demalavez fifth.
It was 1-2-3 in the 100 yard hurdles, with Xavier Vecchio winning, Tarkan Peksen second and Wagner third.
The winning 4x100 relay included Michel, Wagner, Dye and Herrity. The winning 4x400 relay had Fulcher, Peter Servente, Herrity and Gage Wheeler. In the shot put, Dye was second, Logan Rios third and Hakan Peksen fifth.
