Firefighters are responding to a brush fire west of the Barefoot Williams Road and Tower Road intersection in East Naples, Lt. Jedd Davenport of the East Naples fire control and rescue district confirmed.
Davenport said the fire is deep in the woods not threatening any homes, but is approaching the Rookery Bay preserve. Right now, the brush fire is about a half-acre wide.
