GOLDEN GATE — A service offered to a "full house" under the pavilion at Max Hasse Community Park marked the 11th year of the tradition.
Powerful speaker Pastor Jonathan Loerop held the crowd's attention, interspersed with musical performances for the hour long service.
At the conclusion he reminded everyone of the following Easter egg hunt for the kids and emphasised the connection between new life and the meaning of Easter.
Next everyone numbering in the hundreds enjoyed a buffet style sit down breakfast replete with both hot food and delicious baked goods.
Many commented that it was a "great day at a great place, something they look forward to".
