A 3-acre fire in Golden Gate is now fully contained. At one point there were two homes in danger due to this fire.

Collapsed power lines have caused another brush fire in Collier County, according to James Cunningham, a North Naples assistant fire chief. Firefighters are now battling flames near Green Boulevard and Santa Barbara Boulevard, he said.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office said the Division of Forestry is also responding to the fire, the second active fire of the day.
The Daily News has not been able to confirm whether that fire is threatening nearby buildings.
