— A 68-year-old man was charged with battery after Collier sheriff’s deputies say he approached an undercover officer in an East Naples park about committing a sex act and touched the deputy while sitting in the deputy’s undercover vehicle.

George Leo Kloosterhouse, of the 300 block of Benson Street, East Naples, was arrested Wednesday.

At 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, undercover deputies were conducting an operation in Sugden Regional Park in East Naples because of complaints of indecent exposure during the day.

Reports say Kloosterhouse approached one of the deputies and said he wanted someone to perform oral sex on him, and they agreed to meet up later. But before they parted ways, Kloosterhouse entered the deputy’s undercover vehicle and reached over the center console and touched the deputy, reports say.

He reached over to touch the deputy again even though the deputy had pushed his hand away, according to reports.

Many of the doddering Commodores from the out-of-ca$h Yacht Club sail their boats at Sugden Park.
