Collier County sheriff's deputies are searching for a 23-year-old man and his 3-year-old daughter, who were last seen at about 1 p.m. Thursday in Golden Gate.
Sheriff's officials said Alvin Pierre doesn't have custody of daughter Kayla Jasmin and might have taken her to the Miami area.
Pierre is described as a black male with dark hair and brown eyes, possibly wearing a black shirt and black pants.
Jasmin is described as a 3 foot tall black female weighing about 30 pounds, with dark hair and brown eyes. She might be wearing a light pink shirt and dark pink pants, sheriff's officials said.
Anyone with information about Pierre or Jasmin is asked to call the Collier County Sheriff's Office at (239) 252-9300.
