I wonder why the County Commissioners have to give dollar amounts, but not City Councilors. When a guy puts down "stocks and bonds" under intangible assets, I wonder how that reveals if he has an interest in something that comes before Council. In fact, I wonder if this financial disclosure really serves any purpose whatsoever. If taken at face value, it would appear that more than one Councilor would qualify for food stamps! What a useless exercise.

It's a little surprising that none of these folks have a Car Financed, most don't have Mortgages or Job either,
When I look at these people I don't see my community, road, or street. Its a bunch of rich, retired people who bossed people around up north and are now doing it down here.

The creme de la creme are the incompetence board of directors people at the Marco Island Yacht Club. Get a club with best assets and no debts and run it in the ground. But still believe in their management style and skills. Best example of the Peters principle.

KlausStoertebeker,
You got that right. Maybe the best location on Marco for a Club, Great Building, a Foreign Staff they pay with slightly more than Room and Board, and run it into the ground like a bunch of Drunk Frat Boys who think Daddy or their Trust Funds can clean up any mess they make.
I wonder what it would cost to buy 49% of that Stock and turn that place into a World Class Dinning and Dance Club.
