CJ’s on the Bay was buzzing with locals at the weekly Happy Hour on Thursday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. despite the balmy weather.
The bar area was filled to capacity and friendly conversation could be heard all around. Franics Diotte commented, “CJ’s is a comfortable place to come to,” while his friend, Don Murphy stated, “It feels like you are at home at CJ’s.” For many patrons, Happy Hour extended into dinner as they moved into the restaurant after 7.
One group of regular customers commented, “We prefer to be outside at the “Star Bar”, but are still glad to be here.” They noted their favorite dishes are the signature, “Blue cheese potato chips” appetizer, “Which are really good” and the Shrimp and Angel Hair entrée.
If you want to experience Marco Island the CJ’s way, be sure to stop by for their monthly Theme Nights. January’s theme nights are Disco Night on Tuesday, and CJ’s Wine Dinner on Jan. 25. Call (239) 389-4511 for more information.
Many customers were anticipating the upcoming Disco Theme Night featuring “Disco Dave” and the “Disco Dance Off.” Proceeds from this event will benefit the Disco Dave Recovery Fund in his fight against cancer.
