A fine dining fixture on Isles of Capri for 36 years, the Blue Heron has recently completed construction of four new boat slips. Owner Alex Alexander said the new docks can accommodate vessels up to 70 feet and offer electric hookup for overnight stays.
“Any boater who dines with us can use our docks at no charge, and we welcome them to stay the night on Isles of Capri,” invites Alexander.
Recently described by Dozier’s Waterways Cruising Guide as “a real jewel on the southwest coast of Florida,” the Blue Heron has been a popular fine dining experience for visitors from Naples and Marco Island since 1975.
“Our intimate setting overlooking Johnson Bay provides an unforgettable sunset and makes it apparent why the Blue Heron is frequently voted ‘most romantic,’ ” said Alexander.
For those arriving by car, the Blue Heron is located at 387 Capri Boulevard on the Isles of Capri.
