A black bear climbs over a fence after swimming in a Golden Gate Estates family's pool.

GOLDEN GATE ESTATES — A black bear was caught doing laps in a Golden Gate Estates swimming pool. And the family that lives there says this wasn't the first time he's paid them a visit.

Dan Worsdale has lived in Golden Gate Estates for nearly 15 years.

"It's definitely one of the reasons I live out here is because of nature," he said. "Usually, I thought the fence was keeping them out."

The bear made itself right at home last week, when his family spotted a black bear in their backyard swimming pool.
