Naples police detectives say they have identified a suspect in the Saturday holdup of a Wachovia bank branch.

They say Gregory Lee Martin, 49, entered the bank at 820 Park Shore Drive about 11 a.m. walked to the teller booth and displayed a handwritten note to the teller. The note contained writing that demanded money. There were no weapons displayed during the robbery.

The teller gave the suspect U.S. currency from her teller station, and the suspect left the bank.

A warrant has been obtained for Martin's arrest. Martin may be clean shaven now, and it is possible that he is heading toward either the Key West or Tampa areas.

Investigators did not divulge the amount of cash taken.
