Marco Soccer Club having Family Fun Day – again

It was so much fun the Marco Soccer Club is having another Family Fun Soccer Day.

It will be from noon to 4 p.m., Sunday, at Mackle Park.

There is no charge. Hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks and drinks will be on sale to support teams traveling to the 3v3 National Championships in Orlando on July 28-31.

Everyone is welcome and all ages may play 3v3 soccer. There are no restrictions on who can be on a team. It can be mom and dad, brother or sister, best friend, or neighbor. It can be a 6-year-old playing with a 50-year-old, it is all for fun.

There will be multiple fields prepared for play. Games will go until one team scores three goals. The winning team continues to play until it is defeated, or gets tired!

We are nearing the end of our local season and many of our teams are qualified to play in the National Championships. It’s a great event for our players to experience. However, it is very costly to the players and families that participate. If you, or a company you know, would like to help our teams, consider becoming a Championship Sponsor:

You or your company name will be put on the back of our Championship T-shirts.

Championship Sponsors are: Bronze, $100, Silver, $200, Gold, $500 and Platinum, $1,000.

Sponsors, by level of giving, will be placed in order on the T-shirts and on our web site advertising.

A soccer club schedules an event during the finals of the Women's World Cup, which happens to include Team USA?! Shameful!
