ORLANDO — Casey Anthony has filed notice that she will appeal her misdemeanor convictions of lying to law enforcement.
The Florida mother filed the notice Friday in Florida's 5th District Court of Appeal in Daytona Beach.
Anthony was acquitted last week of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee. She was found guilty of four counts of lying to police, but with time served and good behavior credits, she didn't have to serve out her four-year sentence.
She is scheduled to be released from jail on Sunday.
