A gunman robbed a SunTrust Bank in Bonita Springs on Saturday, Lee County sheriff’s deputies said.
The masked, white male brandishing a handgun entered the branch at 11721 Bonita Beach Road about 11:30 a.m., approached a teller and demanded cash, deputies said.
The victim complied and the suspect left the bank on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was further described as standing between 5-foot-10 and 6 feet, with a thin build, weighing about 160 pounds with light blue eyes. No one was injured during the holdup.
