New chef

George Fistrovich has been named the executive chef of the Ritz-Carlton Resorts of Naples. Fistrovich will lead more than 100 culinary professionals in overseeing the food and beverage operation and culinary services for the 10 restaurants at the Ritz-Carlton, Naples, 280 Vanderbilt Beach Road and the Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort, 2600 Tiburon Drive, both in North Naples. Fistrovich was the executive chef at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne for the past six years and studied at the Culinary Institute of America, Washburne Culinary Institue, the International Pastry Arts Center and Carma Ltd .in Dübendorf, Germany.

Chef series

The next five-course dinner in the summer chef series will be held at 6:30 p.m. July 25 at M Waterfront Grille, 4300 Gulf Shore Blvd. N., Naples. Fabrizzio Aielli from Sea Salt will prepare two courses using sable fish, and Brian Roland of M Waterfront Grille will make two courses.
