NAPLES — Blood donors are needed in Collier County to help the Community Blood Center quickly replenish low blood product inventories.
Constant need for blood by area patients, coupled with a nationwide shortage of Rh negative blood types has resulted in NCH Community Blood Center’s appeal for blood donors. All Rh negative blood types are needed as well as O+.
Area donors can help ensure that local supplies are adequate while they become eligible to win a Busch Gardens Tampa two-day package for four and an overnight stay at Wingate by Wyndham. Give blood at the following locations:
• Community Blood Center, 311 Ninth St. N., Suite 108, Naples; located on the first floor of the NCH Medical Plaza Building, next to the NCH Healthcare System’s parking garage. Complimentary valet parking for all blood donors. Hours of operation: Monday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Tuesday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Wednesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.; (239) 436-5455.
