More than 1,000 without electricity overnight in North Naples

More than 1,000 North Naples area residents were without power early Sunday, Florida Power and Light officials reported.

Sue Theriault, who lives in the Tuscany Cove neighborhood of North Naples, said she was among those without power.

FPL spokeswoman Marie Bertot said 1,172 customers in the Tuscany area were affected at 1:26 a.m. Sunday due to a distribution switch. Power was restored to all customers by 2:55 a.m., Bertot said.
