Beekeeping 101
The Lee County Extension, in collaboration with the Beekeepers Association of Southwest Florida (BASF) will offer an introductory beekeeping class this summer. Skills such as moving queens, extracting Africanized bees, managing for production and more. Prepaid registered students receive full startup kit, including a bee veil, gloves, bee box and books at a cost well below the real value of the materials. Space is limited to 40 students.
