— An Immokalee man arrested and accused of attacking another man told deputies the man was having an affair with his wife, his arrest report said.

Pedro Jacobo, 36, of the 1000 block of Christian Terrace in Immokalee, was arrested by Collier County Sheriff’s Office deputies on the 100 block of South 1st Street in Immokalee on Tuesday morning and charged with burglary with assault or battery, criminal mischief and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill.

According to the arrest report, the victim said after he dropped his children off at daycare on Monday morning, he noticed a white truck following him home.

The victim told deputies that while on the 500 block of Dilsa Lane, the truck pulled around him and stopped, the report said.

The victim said Jacobo got out of his truck and told him to get out of his vehicle to fight, the report said.

Upon refusing to fight, the victim said Jacobo punched him in the face several times through the open window, knocked out both front and rear driver’s side windows with a metal baseball bat, kicked a large dent in the driver’s side door and threatened to break the victim’s teeth out if he ever saw him again, the report said.

When deputies questioned Jacobo on Tuesday, Jacobo denied the incident happened, but told deputies the victim had been having a sexual affair with his wife, the report said.

Deputies arrested Jacobo for burglary with battery, aggravated assault and criminal mischief.
